
The Board and Executive supports this Code of Conduct which will provides guidance in terms of conduct expected during the course of your employment with LandCorp.
This Code applies to anyone working for or on behalf of LandCorp and includes staff, in-house consultants and the Board.
Contractors undertaking work for LandCorp are held to the same standards and this is covered in employment briefs. It is a collective responsibility to understand and behave in accordance with the spirit of this Code.
LandCorp wants to be recognised for honesty, integrity and professionalism in all its dealings. To this end we expect that the highest standards will be upheld in terms of our relationships with each other and the outside world. By doing this, we will meet our business objectives, as well as earning the trust and respect of stakeholders and maintaining a reputation as a good corporate citizen.
This Code is not exhaustive and will be reviewed at least every three years. Written suggestions on improvements to the Code may be given to the General Manager Finance & Strategy. If you are in any doubt about a situation which is not covered by this Code, or believe there may have been a breach of this Code, please speak with your manager or the General Manager Finance & Strategy if appropriate.

LandCorp staff, in-house consultants, Executive, and Board agree to:
comply with all relevant acts of Parliament including LandCorp’s enabling legislation - the Western Australian Land Authority Act 1992 and its amendments
honestly, fairly and impartially exercise skill, care and diligence in performing their duties
respect the confidential nature of information that is the property of LandCorp and the Government
maintain the integrity of LandCorp’s decision making processes by disclosing material conflicts of interest that could be perceived to influence decisions or effect our judgement
reject discrimination on the basis of age, race, gender, family status, sexuality, religion, impairment and political belief
engage in conduct that brings credit to LandCorp, for example, by taking responsibility for our actions and being accountable for their consequences and not placing ourselves in situations which result in divided loyalties
use assets responsibly, efficiently and in the best interest of LandCorp and the community of Western Australia
respect the rights of individuals and treat all people courteously
comply with the spirit of this Code
